His track ''day by day'' is an elegant, moving and unapologetic piece of pop piano music that spoke to us with it's simplicity and an associated sense of belonging. Laid on a typical pop chord progression, the melody is melancholic, loving and almost asking for la vocalist and some lyrics - a thought that becomes even more relevant once we learn that the song does follow a pop structure of verse-chorus-verse-chorus. Nevertheless, the pianist carries out the piece with grace and plenty of feeling, leaving the listener somewhat daydreamy, safe but vulnerable.
