Cape Town-based musician, composer and producer Wesley Hlava presents his latest track "The Day After".
"I fell in love with music at a young age, but discovered the guitar quite late, at 17. I love Spanish music, and at first I was attracted by the sounds my mother used to make while playing Gypsy Kings CDs at home. Later I was deeply influenced by the connection with classical guitar music through listening to recordings of many experienced and talented artists around the world."
"The Day After" is a testament to the enduring power of music to transcend time and touch the very essence of our humanity. It is a work of art that defies categorisation, combining the old and the new, the classical and the modern, in one masterpiece. The virtuosity displayed by composer Wesley Hlava is astounding. The pianist's nimble fingers danced across the keys, breathing life into each delicate phrase and cascading arpeggio. The strings too demonstrated their skill, their bows gliding effortlessly over the strings, creating a rich tapestry of sound that envelops the listener in its warm embrace.
We recommend this composition to your neo-classical music playlist. It will become a real gem in your collection:
