Tom Bajoras is a name we grown not just familiar with but delighted by as well. This American pianist/composer once again came to our attention, this time with a piano & cello duet entitled "Lone Pine".
Inspired by Alabama Hills region in California the music does carry within itself a picturesque element, pulling the listener into a sonic landscape painted with a captivating cello performance on a canvas of finely arranged piano accompaniment. Dynamically rich and melodically elaborate, the piece makes a great case in the category of piano & cello duets.
