Sounds M is the artist name of May Masuya, a Japan based composer. Her recent release ''Longing'' is an introspective, dreamy ambient ode to goodness.
Light and easy, the composition rests on an array of synth drones of strings and choir, all the while a piano melody tells a peculiar story. A bit lonely, but not weeping about it, the melody is gazing inward and outward all at once, creating a sort of otherworldly feel around the composition. The artist clearly wrote this tune out of a very individualistic place, not trying to live up to any particular standard, which perhaps doesn't make the the song more memorable, but interesting nevertheless.
