Skyler Loyd is an American pianist who's eerily beautiful tune "Mindscape" we are listening to today.
Written around a strong classical core, the piece presents itself with a peculiar, minor-key melodic effort, one that's lurking with some kind of hidden intent. It is as if the pianist was trying to tell us a secret, but could only reveal it in a non-verbal form of a piano composition. The delivery of the tune deserves it's own praise, as the bars are joined uniquely with a sense of rhythm that is definitely on point but one that's full of rubato and elasticity in general.
