Ryan Dimmock is a British neoclassical composer who came to our attention with a finely arranged composition entitled "Compass".
The piece makes great use of the familiar, aka strings and choir background and blends it in with crisp scoops of ambiance along with what sounds like a banjo. Resembling the title, the track seems to point in four genre directions: classical, folk, ambient and cinematic - all four coming together into a moving piece of music complete with dynamics, delicious detail and plenty of pure emotion delivered by what is undoubtedly a highly proficient composer.
We can't wait to hear more from Ryan Dimmock, but until then, here's "Compass":
