Rick Gallagher Project returns with another composition that signifies his recent development as a pianist, this time entitled "Angels We Have Heard on High".
Once again the pianist allures the listener without a glance with a melodic effort that is as story-telling as is musically rich. Classical meets cinematic to become a twinkling opera delivered by one man and his instrument only - complete with movements, dynamics, point of no return and what else have you in an epic story - ah yes - an adversary and a hero, who are also seemingly there woven into the wonderous melody and its accompaniment.
