Rasmus Zschoch is a German neoclassical/ambient composer who is today releasing his brief, yet intricate and very touching sonic bite entitled ''Dawn''.
Lingering somewhere between neoclassical and folk, the music perfectly paints the picture of the first rays of sunlight appearing upon the horizon. Still a bit murky at the beginning, the composition gradually invites increasing amounts of light into the spectrum with a very gentle but constant crescendo, as well a growing array of instruments. Speaking of instruments, it is worth mentioning that all sounds heard on this track appear to be live instruments, which is a fairly rare choice for an ambient track, but a choice we respect and cherish.
