Purple Decades - which is another artist name that deserves at least a tiny award - is an American project having recently released a dreamy, cloud-like ambient tune entitled "Still".
Weightless and loving, the track wanders in on its dream-pop synth melody, supported by an array of backing drones and ambient sweeps. Persistent with it's good intent, the composer continues to hypnotize the listener with the repetitive, but very soothing melody all the while the soundscape is entertained with beautiful ambient bits that fall in and out of spectrum.
Listening to this track feels like staring at the sky and seeing occasional clouds passing by above you - in fact it's almost spooky how closely comparable the two experiences are.
