Patricio Fraile "Seashells": The black caviar of neoclassical snacks.

Patricio Fraile is a composer from Denmark who caught our ear with his soul-stirring neoclassical snack entitled "Seashells".

Written for woodwinds, strings and piano, the piece from its early bars shines with a brutal kind of honesty only present in works of well practiced composers. Ever so patient and fearless, the piece continues to evolve and rise on its own elongated wings into a sky of liberty and emancipation, each instrument played with immense amount of nerve, as well as skill. Although only almost two minutes long, the composition certainly leaves a mark on the listener and a beautiful one too.
