If you're an active reader of our blog you will know that we have an inbred spook for beats and vocals. Let me rephrase that - our profile is largely that of beat-free instrumentals and in most cases either the beat or the vocals will simply be too prevalent for us to curate. An marvelous exception to the rule is "Coming Home" by Ollorjya from Canada, which I am delighted to share with you today.
Written for synth, keys, vocals and a drum-machine, the music carries within itself a unique quality, one that cherishes all that there is, is somehow all loving, calming, moving and also blatantly fearless all at once. Simple at its core but elaborate in its intent the piece sticks like glue and is bound to have you hit that repeat button.
