Olec Mün "A Friend is Never Gone": A staggering delivery.

Another marvelous debut on our blog entitled "A Friend is Never Gone" from an Argentinian pianist who goes by the name Olec Mün is what you piano-hungry ear will thank you for.

Beautifully recorded with an intimate mix the music evokes feelings of melancholy and longing, almost as if serenading a memory more than something present. Written around a classical core with an approachable melody, the piece contemplates and wonders elegantly on a minor scale all to end on a blissful major tone. Invoking on the song title, I dare to speculate that the composition might be post mortem a passing of a dear friend, in which case I sure hope everyone has a friend like this pianist in their lives.

A staggeringly emotional delivery, listen up above.
