Mystifying and captivating is this recent release by Martin Ruby entitled "Sisyphus". Written for banjola and supported by a finely balanced ambient background the piece captures a mood that seems to grasp the existence at large - with all its beauty, as well as the pain.
It is amazing how much can be achieved with one instrument and a fairly simple melodic effort when the intention and skills are at par.
