
Something peculiarly inviting I found about Lucente Skye's "O Come O Come Emmanuel". Much like the artwork, the piece feels like a moment of relief, an opening of sky past a trailing track among thick trees that lasted a moment too long and - once found - allows for all that was to be gone into the past, right where it belongs, as much as for all that is to come - to wait, and only now - this piece of sky upon which I gaze - is all that there has ever been.
