Laura Veyker "La espera": A gem in minor key.

Laura Veyker is a Spanish pianist who's "La espera" is a widely appealing piece of original piano music we are listening to today.

Resting on an elegant minor key, the music, although written in 4/4 has a very danceable, waltz-like quality to itself. Having introduced itself in fairly melancholic colors, the pianist elaborates into a second movement, painted with major tones and a brilliant melodic elaboration in general, then returns to its minor-key origins, leaving the listener moved and at ease all at once.
