Ivan Kamaldinov ‘’Noir’’ - ghostly ambient beauty

While we don’t get too many submissions from Russia, whenever we do it is always something extra good. Take this ambient gem by Ivan Kamaldinov for example.

Appropriately entitled ‘’Noir’’ (which translated from French means ‘black’) this ambient symphony was born and raised in shadows, but is no stranger to light and - much like all living beings - is always seeking it out. Feather-light whispers accompanied by gentle dynamics are both eerie and soothing, travelling left-to-right speaker through a mist of angelic ambient drones.

Too bad the song ends so rapidly, but as long as it’s the intended idea - we are willing to respect it.
