Isaias Elpes is an award-winning Brazilian musician currently based in LA who has recently released the most charming piece of guitar music, playfully entitled ''Elephant''.
Carried by a Spanish/classical guitar with it's notable sound of nylon strings, the music - even though requiring immense amount of skill and knowledge of the instrument - feels breezy and effortless. Constantly resolving on dominant and subdominant chords, the composition tells a colorful tale, maintaining the listener's interest with its beautiful melodic elaborations, as well as finale which expands the picture with a distant brass section as well as an accompanying bass line.
