GUIDO is a name we are familiar with and have grown enough heart for this pianist's creations to get a bit excited upon seeing a new piece of music from this Dutch talent.
"The Wind", much like his previous creations are a token of elegance, attention to detail and pure beauty. This waltz-lullaby is as memorable as it is undemanding - it's simple, illusive melody grabs the listeners by the spirit and spins it into a lulling dance for the almost three and half minute of its runtime. It is amazing how deep into my own being this composition has reached - listening to this I am reminded of my first experiences with Mozart, Chopin and the likes - I am taken away in delight.
