Euclid's Niece is a pianist/composer from Moldova, who has won our hearts with her recent release entitled ''Happy Dream''.
Composed around a notable classical core, this piano piece has everything a neoclassical arrangement is expected to have and more. An elegant melody is inviting the listener into the oncoming elaborations, which - more or less dramatic - pay every respect to the grand masters of the classical piano, Mozart, Debussy and Chopin inclusive. Elaborate and dynamically rich, the piece continues to evolve, causing an ever increasing wave of emotions within the listener.
Past a nerve-wrecking peak, the composer returns back into a calmer terrain, allowing us to absorb the beauty of the painted horizon at our own pace.
