Almost two years and almost 10,000 submissions into my involvement with neoclassical music and I still find myself staggered by a name I never heard of before. Take Eric Pan from USA with his recently released "The Cosmic Blink Expands".
Written for piano, the composition captivates and immerses the listener from the first note and onwards, leading you deeper into its warm, inviting waters one bar at a time. Almost improvised at time, the music contemplates, lingers and then resolves into magnificent phrases of pure beauty.
This here, my friends, is true art and is much better experienced than spoken of:
