David Bertok "Monaco": to cry or to smile in this neoclassical experience

Classical pianist and composer based in Germany, David Bertok contributes to the documentary film about Columbian artist, Fernando Botero, entitled “Botero,” with the neoclassical piece, “Monaco”.

The piece begins with piano notes that dance with grace as strings notes reverberate like brisk gusts of wind across the melody. The composition is tender with a still gentleness and whispers of reflection and recollection in the solemn shadows of the arrangement. Heart-wrenchingly beautiful, this neoclassical piece fills you with a sense of love and gratitude in its weathered wisdom that proceeds to bestow the oddity of wonder and innocence.
