Dario Crisman ''Home'' : Erik Satie meets electric piano

Updated: Sep 16, 2021

Imagine if there was a small soundbite in the description of every word in the dictionary. If you looked up the word 'mesmerizing' this song would probably come up.

The song establishes itself with the awesome juxtaposition of very classical left-hand piano play while the melody soars above, freely picking and choosing it's moments of impact. The melody-work is quite modern and tasteful, bringing forth the memory of the rebellious Erik Satie . It's also not hard to imagine the song featuring in any of the beautifully dreamy and child-like settings of the Japanese Studio Ghibli films.

There is a nice vinyl-like backdrop of white noise making this song the perfect escape from daily life, or the cream in your Sunday morning coffee.
