Dale Nichols is a Canadian neoclassicist who's piano-driven ode to nature entitled "Blossom" is just what you need to hear to soothe the change of seasons before us.
Carried by an elegant, medium-paced melody played on a piano, the composition is soon complimented by an acoustic guitar, expanding the already loveable soundscape, which also features lovable sounds of nature. Elaborating dynamically, the composer takes the song to a kind of a calm peak, then alters the theme on the piano by modulating the key and thus recapturing the listener's ear in a quite intricate way.
