Charlie Rauh is an American guitarist who has recently released a highly original, imaginative solo acoustic guitar piece entitled ''Careless Gifts Are Seldom Prized''.
Lingering somewhere between Spanish-tuiar and jazz, the arrangement will win over the biggest snob from the get go - its delivery pure and musical richness undeniable. Intricately phrased, the guitar seems to tell a tale, each bar a sentence, which then come together into paragraphs, compiled into a continuous, intricate story. The artist has the ability to make seemingly random phrases sound complete - a proof of the ability to overlook the big picture.
