Caleb Warnar is a Canadian pianist/composer who spoke right to our hearts (and ears) with his most picturesque recent release entitled "October 8th".
Thin by design, like silk the piano melody caresses you blissfully from the first bars. Although seemingly composed, the delivery of this piano tune is so free and immersive, it is almost as if the pianist was improvising all along, thus painting a liberating sonic painting for the listener to enjoy. In just over two minutes the artist manages to pull you into his universe, one where he becomes a single unit with the instrument, then elegantly leads you out back into your domain, leaving you lighter than ever and almost a bit drunk.
