Andrea Vanzo "Variation on the 'Jingle Bells' Theme": An exception to the rule.

If you are a music-submitting artist on our blog, you probably know that we are rather disinterested in both cover music, as well as holiday tunes. While that remains the case, I couldn't walk past this through-the-roof original interpretation of probably the most holiday-themed melody there is by Andrea Vanzo.

Cleverly rearranged with an alternative accompaniment on the left hand, as well as a few twists to the melody, the tune - to an untrained ear at least - may appear to be but an original composition. Although the 'Jingle Bells' theme is in fact present, the entirety of the endeavor feels ever so refreshing, staging a rather cliche melody in a whole new light and giving it a new life with it.
