Alexander Kondrashov is a Russian pianist who won our hearts with his recently released, masterful "Night Waltz".
As the title suggest, the piece is written in waltz tempo, namely three-count and makes great use of its roots, growing and evolving into a mesmerizing gem in its own genre. Driven by a melody which screams elegance and class, the music dances forward unafraid of anything, driven by love and beauty, yet still somewhat heavy hearted. As if the flawless piano delivery wasn't enough, the composer enhances the already bulletproof idea with a xylophone, which accentuates the lead notes in the most elegant of ways.
